Ruby is both compiled and interpreted language which was created in mid 1990’s developed by Yuikihiro Matsumoto. Ruby is also supported by multi programming paradigms which are Multi-paradigm, Functional, Imperative, Object-oriented and Reflective. Swift is a compiled language which was created in 2014 designed by Chris Lattner, Doug Gregor, John McCall, Ted Kremenek, Joe Groff, and Apple Inc and developed by Apple Inc. Swift belongs to Multi-paradigm, Protocol-oriented, Object-oriented, Functional, Imperative, Block structured, Declarative, Concurrent programming paradigms. Most of the iOS mobile applications are made using Swift.
