Twitter is an American owned social networking service. It was launched in 2006 and Twitter has more than 300 million active user per month. It is a popular networking site used by millions. The source of revenue of Twitter is by advertising, marketing and it has a lot of international users as well.
YouTube is an entertainment-based video sharing platform with more than 2 billion users per month. It was founded on 2005. YouTube is currently owned by Google. YouTube earns revenue through paid advertisements and quick links. It is the source of income and YouTube earns more than $20billion annually.
ENTERTAINMENT: Amazon Prime
Amazon prime is an Amercian based company launched in 2005 by Amazon. It is paid subscription service which gives you access to varitey of advantages such as Amazon Prime videos, free shipment of Amazon. It has more than 250 million subscribers. The source of Amazon Prime is through subscription plans.
DIGITAL PAYMENT: Khalti
Khalti is a transaction based digital mobile wallet which was officially launched in Nepal in January 2017 which has more than a million user. Khalti is based on the concept of digital pay such as ebanking, flight tickets, movie tickets, payments of utilities etc. Khalti earns the revenue by different means such as advertising, collaboration with different companies to move from one website or another website and if a user uses their bank cards through the digital wallet the bank pays certain amount to Khalti.
Java is both compiled and interpreted language which was created in 1995 developed by James Gosling. Java is a high level programming language. Java belongs to two programming paradigms which are object-oriented programming and procedural programming. Some of the digital products created by Java are Netflix, Spotify, Minecraft etc.
JavaScript is a interpreted language which was created in 1996 designed by Brendan Eich. Java script belongs to Multi-paradigm, Event-driven, Functional, Procedural, Imperative and Object-oriented programming paradigms. Some of the digital products created by JavaScript are Candy Crush, Facebook, Uber etc.
Ruby is both compiled and interpreted language which was created in mid 1990’s developed by Yuikihiro Matsumoto. Ruby is also supported by multi programming paradigms which are Multi-paradigm, Functional, Imperative, Object-oriented and Reflective. Some of the digital products created by Ruby are Airbnb, Github, Shopify etc.
Php is a interpreted language which was created in 1996 designed by Rasmus Lerdorf and developed by The PHP development team, Zend technologies, PHP foundations. PHP belongs to Multi-paradigm, Functional, Reflective, Procedural, Imperative and Object-oriented programming paradigms. Some of the digital products created by PHP are Wikipedia, Yahoo etc.
Swift is a compiled language which was created in 2014 designed by Chris Lattner, Doug Gregor, John McCall, Ted Kremenek, Joe Groff, and Apple Inc and developed by Apple Inc. Swift belongs to Multi-paradigm, Protocol-oriented, Object-oriented, Functional, Imperative, Block structured, Declarative, Concurrent programming paradigms. Most of the iOS mobile applications are made using Swift.
